Q. Are Sunzapper products Reef friendly and coral safe?
A. Sun Zapper Sunscreen Lotions and Tinted Moisturisers don’t contain Oxybenzone or Octinoxate which studies have shown to be harmful to reefs and coral.
Q. What is SPF?
A. SPF also known as Sun Protection Factor, measures how well a sunscreen will protect skin from UVB rays. UVB rays cause sunburns and damages skin. SPF 50+ blocks 98% of UVB rays. For best protection you need to apply sufficient sunscreen, as under-applying is a common mistake. We recommend for an average adult a minimum of 35mL is applied, and remember to re-apply at least every 2 hours, and always after swimming, towelling or exercising.
Q. Will Sunzapper last in the water?
A. Sunzapper Sunscreen Lotions and Zinc Sticks are Water Resistant for up to 4 hours. If you swim, sweat or towel off remember to re-apply every 2 hours.
